A bit of Fishing Etiquette please.

Every year around this time the Brown Trout move into the rivers and creeks to spawn these magnificent fish that spend most of their time in the depths of the lakes going about their business of normal feeding behaviour and generally keeping to themselves I think of them as the willy old Trout that has seen plenty and may have learned a trick or two and then spawning season starts and all things change not just a little a lot they start their journey into the river and as is in Australia sometime the rivers are not running as hard or deep as they should be so the fish sort of hold off until they can move into the river. This is when the behaviour seems to change the males start to colour up to a polished copper and get very aggressive towards any other male in the area they find themselves chasing other suitors away from a hen that has picked her gravel redd to lay her eggs all a part of the natures grade scheme and just a wonderful thing to see.
Most of us have watched this and marvelled at the sheer strength and endurance of these fish yes I still fish for them like most never take a female
Then comes the other type of angler he to changes this time of year almost like the trout; Aggressive with no idea of what fishing etiquette is, He is there to catch fish as many as possible and show no respect for the fish or anyone else this angler we can do without so if they are doing something wrong just report it to fisheries
FROM MAY 1ST ONE FISH BAG LIMIT MUST BE OVER 50CM ANY RIVER OR CREEK THAT FLOWS INTO LAKE EUCUMBENE.
EVERY FEMALE BROWN TROUT YOU KILL IS LIKE KILLING 1000 FISH
