Brunner too Wanaka

The last few days have been a bit of a blur the sight fishing on Lake Brunner was the best we have had for years and the smaller but even more productive Peorua was a real find with some of the best fighting Browns an angler could ask for then a trip into Greymouth via the Blackball Hilton hotel for a quick refreshment and a Teramakau river session chasing the sea run Browns, they follow the Whitebait into the rivers Leaping Searunners chasing Whitebait if I hadn’t seen it I wouldn’t believe it but very hard to catch 2 great fish landed and plenty of smaller fish around the 40cms. The trip down the West Coast was a wet one as usual but that is the West Coast. Arrived at Lake Wanaka mid-afternoon and straight into the fishing some quality browns sighted and landed in some discolored backed up water .
